My client wanted a sit down home cooked meal today so I found this gem. The owner was pleasant and the restaurant was clean and quiet. The food was delicious fresh and hot.
SUPERfriendly and courteous. By far, best fried okra I've ever tasted. Sweet potato souffle was perfectly seasoned and so, so flavorful. Green beans and Mac n cheese were good, too. But, the absolute standouts were the meats. We had spare ribs and chicken wings and they were JUST.SO.UNBELIEVABLY.DELICIOUS!!! Seriously, I'm not sure there's any way to express just how good this food was. A all the way!
Ahhh mannn. Listen, I read the reviews and I was NOT disappointed. The sides were great, that meat though..... The best brisket I've had in years by far. The ribs succulent, 'fall off the bone' is an understatement. What about when it stay on the bone, but melt in your mouth . I enjoyed both of the sauces, though you can go without them, TRUST it's that good. Kudos ya'll, definitely worth a day trip in the near future
Very clean and very friendly service. I am visiting from Detroit and this is hands down better than most place back home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves bbq. I ordered the ribs and it was fall off the bone amazing!
Because of the snow my favorite BBQ place was closed just when I was craving smoked wings! Saw their OPEN sign and discovered their wonderful food! Best smoked wings ever, moist and tasty! Collards, mac &cheese, sweet potato, all worth a return trip! Just the right amount of bark on the brisket! Worth a detour!
Parker’s catered a meal for our work and I was so impressed! The service was so kind and they thoughtfully packaged the food along with supplying us with plenty of delicious sauces, napkins, cups and cutlery. I had the ribs, potato salad and fried okra. Everything was so delicious. The entire office raved over how delighted they were with their meals. We will definitely be going back again! Thank you!!!

While staying at Hunter A. A. We planned on a fast food dinner. Thankfully that place was closed! Parker’s smoked meats was OPEN! This was a delicious REAL meal! My Turkey leg meat just fell away from the bone and so yummy! My husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was large and delicious. The meal was priced right and portions were generous. All served with a friendly attitude.
